Ajaloo v\u00f5ltsimine.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tenno Pent Sooster (1957) s\u00fcndis, kasvas ja omandas kunstihariduse Moskvas. Ta \u00f5ppis kinomatograafia instituudis animatsiooni. 1990ndate algusest elab ja t\u00f6\u00f6tab Iisraelis Tel Avivis. Kuid ta on l\u00e4bi elu olnud seotud Eestiga, lapsep\u00f5lve suved m\u00f6\u00f6dusid vanaema v\u00f5i t\u00e4di juures Eestis, eesti keel on tal siiani suus. Kunstnik \u00dclo Soosteri (1924-1970) pojana poleks teisiti olnudki v\u00f5imalik. \u00dclo Sooster asus p\u00e4rast vangilaagrist naasmist elama Moskvasse &#8211; ta oli abiellunud moskvalannast juuditari Liidia Soosteriga ja muutunud kunstielus ei olnud Soosteril enam Tallinnas kohta -, kuid tema roll oli Eesti avangardistliku kunstim\u00f5tte arendamisel 1960ndatel \u00e4\u00e4rmiselt m\u00e4rkmisv\u00e4\u00e4rne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tenno Pent Soosteri kunstnikuelu on praegugi suuresti seotud Iisraeliga. Kuid mitmed olulised isikun\u00e4itused on tal olnud just Eestis (Tartu kunstimuuseumis, Hiiumaa muuseumis, P\u00f5ltsamaa pARTi galeriis). Ta on m\u00e4nginud ka aktiivset osa oma isa \u00dclo Soosteri loomingu tutvustamisel ja t\u00f5lgendamisel, nagu see oli paar aastat tagasi Vaala galeriis. Vaala n\u00e4itusel oli Tenno Pendil kahetine, kuraatori ja kunstniku roll &#8211; seda nii isa vangilaagris tehtud joonistuste esitajana-t\u00f5lgendajana, aga ka enda digitr\u00fckkidega dialoogi tekitajana. Vaala n\u00e4itusel tuli v\u00e4ga h\u00e4sti esile Tenno Pent Soosteri k\u00f5rvaltvaataja, anal\u00fc\u00fcsija positsioon, huvi ajaloo vastu. Tenno Pent Soosteri ajaloohuvist ei saa r\u00e4\u00e4kida mitte niiv\u00f5rd faktide kogumise v\u00f5i ka \u00fcldistuste loomise, vaid just ajaloolise massikultuuri representatsiooni m\u00f5ttes. Vaala galeriis olid v\u00e4ljas ka m\u00f5ned praegu Vabaduse galeriis eksponeeritud t\u00f6\u00f6d. Tenno Pent Soosteri &#8220;meeste m\u00e4ngud&#8221; h\u00f5lmavad eelk\u00f5ige sportlikke harrastusi, kuid tema segatehnikas t\u00f6\u00f6d ei ole praegusaja spordi v\u00f5i sportliku tegevuse kajastus v\u00f5i isegi mitte t\u00f5lgendus. Tenno Pent Soosteri huviobjekt on ka sporditemaatika juures j\u00e4\u00e4nud selle kui k\u00f5ige massilisema, populaarsema inimtegevuse valdkonna pildiline kujutamine, sellega kaasnenud manipulatsioon ja t\u00f5esuse k\u00fcsimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tenno Pent Sooster on v\u00f5tnud ajaloolise, eelk\u00f5ige XIX sajandi tr\u00fckigrav\u00fc\u00fcri, sest just siis hakkas levima k\u00f5ikv\u00f5imalik sportlik tegevus, algul masside l\u00f5bustajana (tsirkus), hiljem j\u00e4rjest enam masse kaasahaarajana (spordiseltsid, pallim\u00e4ngu meeskonnad), modernse, tervisliku eluviisi propageerijana, ja k\u00e4inud sellega arvutis \u00fcsna vabalt ringi (muutnud kompositsiooni, toonud juurde tegelasi). Pildilise kujutise juures on s\u00e4ilitatud XIX sajandi massikultuuri v\u00e4ljan\u00e4gemine, mis v\u00e4hemalt praeguses kontekstis m\u00f5jub sageli pilapildina, naerutajana. Nii m\u00f5nigi tollal s\u00fc\u00fctu l\u00f5bustusena toiminud etteaste (siiami kaksikute v\u00f5i lilliputtide n\u00e4itamine tsirkuses) m\u00f5jub aga praegu lausa inimv\u00e4\u00e4rikuse alandamisena (&#8220;Shoti vigaste laste tsirkuse&#8221; sari).<br>Kunstniku oma panus, esitatu nihestatus t\u00f5statab nii ajaloolise t\u00f5e (Kas ja kuidas sai esimese dopingukontrolli juures viibida Winston Churchill? Miks on treener kahtlaselt Hitleri n\u00e4gu?) kui ka eetiliste v\u00e4\u00e4rtuste k\u00fcsimusi (Kas t\u00f5esti l\u00e4ksid shotlased nii kaugele, et n\u00e4itasid haigeid lapsi tsirkuses?).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kunstniku k\u00f5ige viimastesse t\u00f6\u00f6desse on lisandunud XIX sajandi massikultuuri, pilapaildilise tasandi k\u00f5rval otsesene viide euroopalike v\u00e4\u00e4rtuste varasalvega ehk siis piibli v\u00f5i antiik-kreeka m\u00fctoloogiaga. See aga tekitab uusi, praeguses situatsioonis v\u00e4gagi aktuaalseid k\u00fcsimusi. Mida t\u00e4hendab Euroopa r\u00f6\u00f6vimine praeguses terrorismiohu kontekstis? V\u00f5i kes on kapteni, capitano maski taga XXI sajandi teise k\u00fcmnendi keskpaigas?<br>Vabaduse galeriis ei ole Sooster piirdunud kahem\u00f5\u00f5tmelise kunsti, pildilise kujutisega, vaid on sellele lisanud installatiivse tasandi. Mis omakorda toob ajalt ja kohalt v\u00f5\u00f5ra kujutise just meie konteksti (n\u00f5ukogudeaegsed klaasist piimapudelid, 1930ndate puitehitise lauad). Suured kahem\u00f5\u00f5tmelised t\u00f6\u00f6d on esitatud pilttapeedina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tenno Pent Sooster ei ole moralist, kaugel sellest.
