See on veidi libe konks, mis viib v\u00e4ljapaneku v\u00f5i ka laiemalt Kristiina Kaasiku praeguse kunsti t\u00f5lgendamise valedele radadele. Kunstnikul on ilmselt oma p\u00f5hjused ning loomingu arengu sisemine loogika, mis on pannud ta m\u00f5tlema kolmk\u00fcmmend aastat tagasi maalitud t\u00f6\u00f6le.<\/p>\n<p>Tema religioossusel ei olnud ei siis ega veel v\u00e4hem ka praegu midagi pistmist \u00fche v\u00f5i teise konfessiooni atribuutika v\u00f5i isegi neile vastava metafoori loomisega. Tema l\u00e4henemisviisi v\u00f5iks pigem v\u00f5rrelda 20. sajandi alguse ekspressionistide hingestatud maastikut\u00f5lgendustega \u2013 kaitsekihi loomisega tollase alles pead t\u00f5stva konsumeristliku sootsiumi kaose vastu. Ka katedraal, saksa ekspressionistide \u00fcks meelismetafoore, ning eelk\u00f5ige selle vitraa\u017eakende p\u00f5hjal v\u00e4lja kasvanud teine metafoor paljutahuline kristall sobisid \u00f5ige h\u00e4sti avama Kristiina Kaasiku viieteistk\u00fcmne aasta taguseid maastikuvisioone.<\/p>\n<p>Kristiina Kaasik on vision\u00e4\u00e4r, kuid mitte selle praeguses m\u00f5ttes, tema visioonid on pigem intellektuaalsed ja hingelised eneseotsingud. Ta on ka praegu \u00fcsna samal teel, kuigi on sellegi aja jooksul teinud l\u00e4bi mitmed loogilised muutused, arengu. Kristiina Kaasiku viimase aja maalid toimivad kui kultuurikihtide ladestused, mida kunstnik on arheoloogina asunud avama, et tuua vaataja pilgu ette midagi seni varjatut, kuid mingil p\u00f5hjusel olulist.
